From the moment a woman confirms her pregnancy, to the moment she makes her decision to abort or to carry is less than 24 hours. Women in Kansas need pregnancy information and support, and they need it fast.

Research shows that women consider abortion because of reasons such as, finances, not wanting to be a single mother, not wanting to have relationship issues, and the belief that a child would interfere with her work or education. That is why Embrace offers no-cost services including:

  • Pregnancy tests
  • Same-day sonograms
  • STD testing
  • Parenting and relationship classes
  • Material support and incentives (diapers, wipes, clothes, formula and more)
  • Connections to other community resources

Embrace focuses on the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all clients. God’s truth, hope, and encouragement have been shared with over 50,000 mothers since opening 38 years ago and He is not done yet.

Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, Kansas has become an abortion mecca. Estimates place the number of clinician-provided abortions in 2023 at 20,700 up from 7,849 in 2021. That is a 263% increase in two years and represents an all-time high for Kansas. The need to offer the hope and peace that can only be found in Jesus and by trusting God’s design for life is now greater than ever.

That is why Embrace is expanding with a second location in Derby, KS set to open at the end of this year.
