The State of Kansas utilizes the KanCare program to administer Medicaid. KanCare delivers whole-person, integrated care to people across the state.
When you are a client with Embrace and want to know if you qualify for KanCare, contact the GraceMed Health Exchange Navigators for assistance. When you call, you will set up a time to meet with a Navigator in person and apply for state insurance that same day.

Please have the following information ready before you call:
- Proof of citizenship/birth certificate.
- Driver’s license or valid photo ID.
- Social Security Card or number.
- Proof of income/tax documents/food stamps, etc.
- If you are applying for KanCare coverage of children, you will need a copy of each child’s immunization/school record.
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
This government program, offered through Sedgwick County and available throughout Kansas, provides healthy food and nutritional support to low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and young children.
